Summary of Position:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, The Senior Manager of Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits, & HRIS) will play a critical role in shaping the overall compensation and benefits strategy for the organization.
This position is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the design, implementation of employee compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR systems. This position is also responsible to ensure that our compensation and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives. The successful person in this role will lead a team of 5 professionals (2 Payroll, 2 Compensation and Reporting, 1 Health, Welfare, and Retirement Benefits), ensuring compliance with payroll processes, and applicable policies and regulations. Additionally, this role will involve analyzing compensation and benefits data to make informed recommendations to leadership. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, driving operational efficiency through Cost of Labor reporting, executing merit bonuses & promotions, salary benchmarking, and enhancing employee satisfaction. Proficiency in HRIS platforms and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP) and strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, FMLA).
This position will play a critical role in supporting the company's ability to attract, engage, and retain talent.

Administers Compensation Management program (including job classification, salary structure & performance management activities) on a day-to-day basis, including:
- Monitors marketplace to ensure our pay rates & pay structure in comparison to the marketplace, including conducting periodic market surveys
- Analyzes our compensation to ensure internal fairness
- Evaluates positions to establish appropriate pay grades
- Coordinates annual performance appraisal processes

3. Qualifications for Position:
A. Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or education/experience equivalency); Masters Degree or MBA preferred, not required. |
B. Experience
10-15 years minimum of Compensation Management & Benefits Management experience at the manager level in a mid-sized or large company environment (preferably in a manufacturing environment) |
C. Competencies & Attributes

Highly developed interpersonal and internal customer service skills with the ability to manage and motivate different personalities. 3. Excellent verbal & written communications 4.
