Summary

The Warehouse Manager is a key part of our management team and is responsible for the effective and successful management of our warehouse teams. The incumbent will work with warehouse leaders and operations staff to provide focus and direction for operations performance improvement. The Warehouse manager will be responsible for steady-state operations and shall analyze and improve operational processes, productivity, and efficiency. This position will work across various parameters to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities
  • PEOPLE & CULTURE
    • Work with warehouse supervisors to hire, train, coach and lead their teams
    • Follow up consistently to build and maintain trust
    • Demonstrate compassion and care in relationships with teams while setting clear expectations and accountabilities
    • Develop team to grow with La Colombe
    • Ensure that staff understand the shared responsibilities for goals and responsibilities
    • Lead, develop, and mentor department management staff, with an emphasis on functional and cross-functional teamwork, planning, follow-up, and effective communication
  • EXECUTION
    • Lead and developing warehouse teams to support business objectives
    • Recruiting, hiring, and training of Warehouse leads
    • Create Warehouse training program
    • Train warehouse managers and leads on new protocols
    • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of operational issues and conducting root cause analysis to inform the management of other teams within the company
    • Establish key metrics and develop / implement plans to achieve initiative targets and business objectives
    • Developing and enforcing adoption of new SOP's for fulfillment and warehouse management
  • STANDARDS & SYSTEMS
    • Develop and introduce best-in-class operations excellence initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and performance
    • Ensure consistent execution and compliance through operational standards
    • Management of an WMS
    • Manage La Colombe B2B platform
    • Collaborate with production and fulfillment to solve problems, reduce errors, and achieve incremental processes improvement
    • Develop a and maintain a continuous improvement cycle
Requirements
  • 3 years of warehouse operations leadership experience preferred
  • Positive, professional, and proactive communication skills
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to diffuse conflicts, not to escalate when tensions run high
  • Ability to effectively manage change

Compensation Range:$91,200.00-$136,800.00, plus bonus.
