General Summary of Position:

Granite Telecommunications is seeking a proactive and organized Office Coordinator to join our team in Quincy, MA. This role requires a professional individual who can manage front desk responsibilities while overseeing various office activities to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, and issuing visitor badges.
  • Keep the front desk and office areas tidy and presentable.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment working with Granite's internal Helpdesk Team.
  • Assist in the organization of company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Support the HR department with onboarding new employees.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure efficient office operations.


Qualifications:



  • College degree or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
  • Proven experience as an office coordinator, office manager, or in a relevant administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
