Intralox, LLC, is seeking a highly motivated and self-managed person to serve as Buyer in its Supply Chain Department. This position will support the management of purchasing transactions for equipment production and non-production items. The position is based in our Hanover, MD facility and reports to the Supply Chain Supervisor. *Support the management of purchasing transactions, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders, for equipment production and non-production items.
*Prepare equipment bill of materials by obtaining quotes and scheduling supply.
*Support Supply Chain Analyst in executing data analysis to help support supply chain strategies and initiatives.
*Manage supplier and inventory item information within our ERP system.
*Analyze procurement categories identifying product trends, spending patterns, and areas of performance improvements.
*Assist in the development of our supply base through assisting in supplier selection, monitoring supplier performance, and building supplier relationships.
Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in a supply chain, business, or other related fields
*Previous experience with Oracle preferred.
*Minimum 3 years procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
*Must be a self-managed, hard-working, self-motivated individual.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. |
