About the Role:

As the Senior Manager, Sales Planning PMO, you will take charge of leading Sales Planning activities within our dynamic Sales organization. You'll be the key player in facilitating cross-functional collaboration to achieve our company's financial goals. Your role will involve acting as the go-to liaison for Sales planning initiatives with the Sales leadership team and all respective channels. You'll work closely with various internal functions, including Sales Forecasting, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless coordination and success within Ferrero.

The position will be based in our US headquarters in Parsippany, NJ and report to the VP, Sales Operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage in-month volume tracking to Budget and Target at the Brand and Customer/Channel level across multiple portfolios. Key collaboration with Sales Leadership Team and weekly presentations to CCO.
  • Track all Seasonal Activations, Display Programs with the channels to ensure commitments are upheld
  • Actively work cross functionally with the Category Sales Planners to identify gaps / opportunities for a given month or session
  • Review and provide insights to the Channel VPs on consumption trends by category / brand to ensure Sales teams are setting accurate volume assumptions in planning system
  • Conduct and lead weekly sales volume conference calls to deliver our monthly commitments with the Sales leadership team / CCO
  • Lead the process for development of the Session Volume Gating for the Sales leadership team and develop the presentation to support the CCO
  • Lead the monthly process for review of the S&OP with the CCO and highlight drivers / drainers of the business impacting the session and year
  • Create new methods and processes to streamline workflows, create efficiencies, and improve outputs.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure proper communication regarding any volume implications are being shared out on a timely basis with the Sales leadership team
  • Conduct volume Tracking via Customer Pacing Reporting for Daily, Monthly, and Session
  • Partner with Channel Leadership, Field Sales, Sales Planning, and Customer Service
  • Develop and share out Monthly Forecast Accuracy Reporting via Lag 1 Actualization s
  • Aging/Destruction Risk Mitigation and Reporting
  • Project responsibility and scope will cover all channels and category / brands with the objective of supporting the delivery of our annualized financial objectives (Volume of 2.3B QLI / Net Sales $2.77B)

Who we are looking for:

  • 8+ years of Demand Planning/Forecasting/Sales Planning experience
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with S&OP process
  • Leadership skills and the ability to convince, influence, and motivate all levels within the business to achieve objectives
  • Detail oriented with a highly analytical mindset for creative problem solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required
  • Expertise in working with multiple stakeholders across the end-to-end Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial channel teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline required; MBA a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and across a variety of cultures
  • Strong and highly effective project management skills
  • Capabilities in Problem solving and solutions leadership
