Description
The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making across Mirion Medical with a focus on reporting, data management, financial reporting, and master data management. Reporting directly to the S&OP Leader for the Medical Business, this role will collaborate with executives and teams across all four Mirion Medical businesses globally. The Business Analyst will provide critical insights through data analysis and visualization, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and alignment with business goals. This position will also contribute to the financial reporting processes, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reports that provide actionable insights into business performance, supporting both operational and financial decision-making for the Medical Business.
- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present complex data and financial reports clearly for business leaders.
- Analyze business, operational, and financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement across all Mirion Medical businesses.
- Work closely with the S&OP Leader for the Medical Business to ensure alignment of reporting and analytics with global business priorities, including financial performance.
- Collaborate with executives and key stakeholders across all Mirion Medical businesses to drive consistency and alignment in reporting practices and data analysis.
- Design, implement, and automate financial and operational reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting efforts.
- Support the maintenance and management of master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems in accordance with best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) across both financial and operational metrics, providing insights and recommendations for business improvements.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives to maintain high-quality, reliable, and compliant business data.
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts for business analytics processes and tools to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Foster strong relationships with global teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across all Mirion Medical business units.
Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in business analytics, financial reporting, or data management.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of business analytics, financial reporting, and data management principles.
- Experience in analyzing financial performance, tracking key financial metrics, and providing financial insights.
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements, define KPIs, and align reporting with business objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on process efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with attention to day-to-day execution.
Academic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field with a strong analytical background.
- Previous experience in business analytics or financial reporting within the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.
