Job Summary

As a critical member of the Global Learning team, the person in this role will support the strategy and execution of the learning and development essential to meeting and exceeding the targets of the Cox Automotive global workforce. The Global Learning Intern (GLI) will be deployed to learn the various functions (Design, Operations, Delivery) within the learning organization, through immersive support and partnership.

The GLO will lead the research and design of the 2026 Reverse Mentoring Program for CAI. In this capacity, the individual will drive the CAI learner experience, ensuring consistency, continuity, and quality. This role will leverage learning and development research, strong process skills, adaptability, and superior communication skills to define and develop this important program, critical to the success of our high-energy, fast-paced, and ever-changing organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research trends and advancements in the learning & development space, specific to Mentoring/Reverse Mentoring programs-applying these to content development, delivery, and measurement
  • Plan associated learning events, including but not limited to logistics, materials, and learner experience
  • Curate and analyze learning data to support ongoing evolution of Reverse Mentoring learning experiences
  • Develop program communications, materials, and resources
  • Attends working/intake sessions to capture gaps, needs and/or processes and develop solutions to meet the needs of the client(s)
  • Identify needed learning content (in a variety of modalities) that may also include job aids and simulations-ensuring alignment with technology and business support infrastructure
  • Develop targeted learning assessments to measure key outcomes
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and develop timely, relevant content that instills key behaviors in learners and produces measurable results
  • Ensures the accurate translation of learning objectives into teaching materials and events
  • Contributes to a high-performance culture by demonstrating ownership, accountability and openness to feedback
  • Facilitates soft skills-focused training for associates at various levels
  • Work/solve problems of complex and diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Communicate regularly with program stakeholders, Global Learning leadership, and others as required
  • Ensure current, comprehensive documentation for all operational processes
  • Demonstrate agility when responding to client needs in a fast-paced, constantly changing, deadline-driven environment
  • Grow and maintain positive training relationships with internal CAI departments and external strategic partners
  • Perform other duties as requested


Qualifications

Minimum

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment to meet aggressive timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire a learning environment
  • Ability to quickly learn the Cox Automotive business, structure, and strategies
  • Exceptional planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Learner-driven
  • Demonstrated bias for action
  • Detailed, organized, and systematic
  • Able to operate and thrive independently in fast paced and ambiguous environment with a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Proven experience working with complex business concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook), setup and operation of relevant audio-visual equipment, and have an aptitude for learning and applying new technologies and instruction techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills fostering effective interaction among a variety of stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated experience using software to complete projects and stay connected with key partners, such as OneDrive, Teams,, SmartSheet, etc.


USD 21.49 - 32.26 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
