The Role:
- Repair, maintain, and monitor the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices. Participate in moves of slot-related equipment. Create a memorable experience by providing excellent guest service.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
- Be able to deal with high-volume customer interactions, and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful.
- Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
- Handle routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel; seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
- Ensure slot-playing guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service at all interactions.
Utilize open body language to guests on the casino floor while patrolling; politely speak with and assist guests as needed. - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain slot-related equipment on the casino floor and in the slot shop.
Participate in the installation, movement, and removal of slot-related equipment. - Maintain proper logs in compliance with Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and internal controls.
Understand, and adhere to, all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations. - Promptly and professionally respond to all calls.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- A two-year degree in the electronics field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Must obtain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.
- Knowledge of hand tools and electronic testing devices.
- Appropriate use of personal computers, telephones with voice mail systems, fax machines, and two-way radios.
- Ability to write technical statements.
- Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Read, write, and understand complex instructions and electrical schematics.
- Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
- Understand, and adhere to, all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
- Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
