Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a well-rounded and experienced Senior HRIS Analyst to join our team. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of HR functions and a strong background in Workday. The ideal candidate will have experience optimizing and troubleshooting issues with HR functions such as payroll, time tracking, benefits, recruiting, Prism, advanced compensation, and more. Additionally, the ideal candidate will excel in business process optimization and have strong expertise in Workday Security. This position reports to the Senior Manager, HRIS in Houston, Texas.

HRIS Support
  • Provide expertise in areas such as employee lifecycle management, organizational structures and HCM configuration
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and document project decisions, test results and approvals
  • Ensure efficient design and implementation of HCM workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Workday modules, including payroll, time tracking, benefits, recruiting, advanced compensation and others
  • Review release documentation, recommend, implement and communicate new features
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to implement and maintain system integrations
  • Communicate accurately, timely and professionally to employees, managers, payroll and other team members
  • Maintain a detailed understanding and working knowledge of the current HR system, its functions and its relationship to other information systems within the firm
  • Continuously identifies areas of improvement for processes and configurations
Workday Security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues in Workday
  • Optimize security configurations to align with business needs and compliance requirements
  • Stay updated on Workday security best practices and implement improvements
Reporting
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
  • Utilize Workday Prism and other tools to enhance reporting capabilities
  • Support reports with legacy data
Training and Documentation
  • Provide training and user guides to HR and business teams on Workday features and updates
  • Document system changes, configurations and processes
  • Provide knowledge transfer sessions to upskill HRIS team members

Qualifications and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience working with Workday, including core HCM and security
  • Workday Security certification is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Workday modules and HR functions
  • Experience in business process optimization and configuration
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and intermediate knowledge of Excel required
  • Must display exceptional judgment and confidentiality
