Sentara Obici Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility located in Suffolk, Virginia. This 172-bed, full-service hospital continues a legacy of providing residents of Western Tidewater with high-quality, patient-centered care. In June 2010, Sentara Obici opened a new three-story, 63,480 square-foot wing, which includes all private beds serving orthopedic, medical, and surgical patients and increased the hospital's bed capacity.

Position Overview:

The Assistant Teacher Is knowledgeable of developmental early childhood methods and is responsible for assisting the teacher in the care and learning of children and developing lesson plans while following the curriculum. The Assistant Teacher assists with day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. This is a great opportunity for creativity and impacting children positively in their early years. Education Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Required:

High School Grad or Equivalent

One year experience in Childcare

CPR required within 3 months of hire.
