A Day in the Life:

Bunge has a challenging opportunity available for a Regional Continuous Improvement Leader to help drive our organization to achieve substantial cost and efficiency improvements year over year. As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you will be responsible for Lead change management activities and leading the use of Lean Sigma, kaizens, and other continuous improvement tools within the business (OVC, Milling, Packaging, Grain) and operation environments to eliminate non-value added activities, while improving operational excellence. Assists in the identification and proliferation of manufacturing best practices. Will be responsible for the support of an operational excellence culture throughout all plant operations and in alignment with the BPS productivity effort.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead cross-functional critical business projects utilizing Lean Sigma and continuous improvement techniques in order to identify and eliminate waste throughout the business
  • Lead different projects over time, it is important that the projects are followed-up & DMAIC principles applied, while the ownership of the project will be transferred to site Plant Managers
  • Training and coaching of local staff in Lean. The Regional CI Leader will need to train and build the Lean skills of the local resources so that they are able to implement, sustain, and continue using Lean principles. Training will be delivered and provided first by the corporate Lean team
  • Assist business functions and plants in mapping their work processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Apply continuous improvement methods such as Six Sigma (DMAIC/DFSS), Lean, change execution, and Behavior Consequence Management
  • Apply Lean principles of teamwork, methodology, business benefit, innovation, and customer (VOC) focus
  • Lead transformational change and work on identifying greatest Lean opportunities across the company

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 5 years' experience in Manufacturing Preferred
  • Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification Preferred
  • Project Management PMP certification Preferred
  • Experience designing, implementing, and leading continuous improvement projects/programs
