JOB PURPOSE:

Support the software product development process by managing the product backlog, refining user stories, and ensuring that our chatbot solutions meet user needs and business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-line teams, developers and stakeholders, to create engaging and intuitive conversational experiences. Through user research, market analysis, and iterative testing, you will help drive the continuous improvement of our chatbot interfaces, enhancing user satisfaction and product performance.

This 10 week internship will begin June 2, 2025 and will be located in our Sioux Falls, SD office.

KEY FUNCTIONS:



  • Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Analyze user data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in managing the product backlog, including prioritizing features and user stories.
  • Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on product progress.
  • Identify KPIs for user stories and collaborate with data analysts to track performance.
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings and help ensure that the development team understands the product vision and goals.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the product meets the required standards and user needs.
  • Create and iterate on dialog flows, scripts and user interactions for chatbots.
  • Develop prototypes to test and refine conversational experiences.
  • Participate in usability testing and gather feedback to improve conversation flows.
  • Document features, processes, requirements, user feedback and best practices.
  • Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco's Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
  • Adhere to Midco's privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:




  • Working towards a Bachelor Degree in Business, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
