Systems Administrator I

JOB SUMMARY:
The Systems Administrator I helps develop and maintain all enterprise computer systems including installing, monitoring, and troubleshooting operating systems, software, hardware, data center computer infrastructure as well as overseeing and implementing best security practices. This position plays a key role in production, network and system support throughout the G+D US locations. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist in setting up various security groups and GPO printers and policies for the various sites whose computers are managed.
  • Application and Security Patch Management
  • Assist in maintaining corporate network infrastructure manage hardware/software assets and ensure license compliance.
  • Assist with network configuration and support items as requested.
  • Perform any support or maintenance of network storage hardware.
  • Maintain and work within various hypervisor environments, addressing virtual server needs of the business.
  • Administer users, software, and device objects within O365/M365 environments
  • Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware and network printers.
  • Resolve issues relate to the internet, communications, LAN and VPN (virtual private network) connections.
  • Perform extensive troubleshooting regarding log investigation, hardware issues, developing scripts across various Linux distribution servers including Windows, Debian and RHEL.
  • Administer and configure DHCP, DNS, SFTP, HTTP servers.
  • Define, document, enforce, and train individuals on IT platforms and processes accordingly.
  • Utilize VMWare tools to create, administer, and decommission virtual servers, within the G+D data centers.
  • Provide remote support through use of various tools to corporate individuals or G+D locations.
  • Firewall validation responsibilities (to be learned on the job).
  • Review system logs to identify requested information

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 3 years of technical and administrative experience.
  • High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • At least 3 years of previous involvement with security and audit experience.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • System administrative experience
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Familiarity with administrative scripting languages.
  • Ability to keep detailed and accurate records.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds regularly, able to work around machinery.
  • Must possess high standards of personal integrity. Able to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule, periodic extended overtime and weekend work required. PREFERRED
  • Knowledge of PCI standards, GSMA, ISO and SOC II.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Requires working on hard floor - standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting and stooping on occasion.
  • Must be able to withstand loud noise in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $31.00-$33.00 per hour and is eligible for an annual bonus of 2.5%.
