Job Summary Performs semi-skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to support the proper operation of buildings, utilities, equipment, grounds and facilities. Essential Functions 25% - Monitors, maintains and performs minor repairs for mechanical, carpentry, locks, plumbing, electrical, life safety and energy management system issues. Investigates and obtains trades services if necessary; coordinates and oversees work performed by external vendors. Performs preventative maintenance on cooling, water, heat, air, drainage and other infrastructure systems 20% - Makes keys, installs locks; maintains and installs doors and associated hardware; may issue and maintain keys 20% - Retrieves information and enters/updates information in reports, logs or other documentation/record-keeping systems 15% - Reads, understands, and interprets safety sheets and warning labels to safely utilize chemicals, cleaners, and/or other materials 10% - Responds to work order requests and/or emergency calls. Adheres to applicable policies and procedures. Keeps assigned tools and/or equipment in clean and safe working condition 5% - Using predetermined layouts for larger events, setup chairs, tables, staging, signage, install banners using a boom lift. May work some weekends and evenings as event support 5% - Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, and one (1) year of building maintenance experience or directly related experience. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
