Who We Need Sabel Systems is seeking an experienced people leader to be a Team/Customer Relationship Manager of an IT Helpdesk for a large U.S. Space Force engagement located at LA AFB in El Segundo, CA. This hybrid remote + in-person, local area position will lead and supervise a team of IT Helpdesk professionals and help grow the user base of the cloud product. The ideal candidate has experience working in the DoD and familiarity with DoD culture and organization and is an expert presenter, relationship builder, and communicator. The Manager will be a key member of our rapidly growing Space Systems Command (SSC) portfolio and ensure the success of our Space Force clients' Digital Engineering transformation. In addition to leading the IT Helpdesk team, the Manager is responsible for promoting Sabel system products via in-person, live product demonstrations and briefings to customers at LA AFB. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for project cost, schedule, and delivery quality including profit and loss (P&L). The Manager provides budgetary estimates and drafts task language as required to meet evolving U.S. Space Force needs. This position requires an understanding of contracting with the Federal Government. The Manager recruits, retains, and grows team skills to meet current and anticipate future client needs. The Manager provides mentorship to junior leaders to develop future Managers. The ideal candidate has prior military or DOD civilian leadership/supervisor experience and a broad understanding of Information Technology within the DoD. The position requires a full Secret clearance with the ability to be cleared to Top Secret.
