Responsibilities

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state of the art 65-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Director of Plant Operations position.

The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for the development, organization and management of the facility including; Maintenance, Housekeeping, IT and Food Service. They ensure duties are performed in a systematic manner and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and applicable regulatory/accreditation rules and guidelines resulting in a safe, attractive, and orderly facility.

Hours

The Director of Plant Operations is a Full Time, Day Shift, Exempt Salary Basis. The position reports directly to the hospital CEO and is a member of the hospital senior leadership team.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or training in building trades or field work which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties preferred. Additional graduate level or management courses preferred.
  • Previous experience with H.V.A.C. equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment including hand and power tools, carpentry, grounds maintenance, and auxiliary power supply systems.
  • Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal regulatory codes regarding Fire and Life Safety Codes, and building and engineering codes preferred.
  • Experience communicating and managing staff required.
