Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 + Commission

The Sales Executive for Zephyr is a domain expert responsible for articulating the full value proposition and capabilities of the Zephyr Platform, PSN data, and Zephyr API to drive business growth and secure new sales. This role requires a strong understanding of asset and wealth management software, particularly how Zephyr's tools assist financial professionals, such as Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and financial advisors, in portfolio analysis, performance reporting, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a domain expert, thoroughly understanding the business needs of financial professionals and clearly demonstrating how the Zephyr Platform, PSN data, and Zephyr API solve client challenges and create value.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Zephyr's portfolio analysis tools, performance reporting features, and cloud-based technology, including how they support financial decision-making and client relationship management.
  • Develop and expand the sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, outreach, and leveraging existing industry contacts within the financial services sector.
  • Adhere to Zephyr's structured sales process, including following set timelines, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and maintaining detailed records of all client interactions in Salesforce.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans aimed at engaging non-client prospects, with a focus on connecting with senior executive decision-makers within the financial advisory and wealth management industries.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, collaborating with teams across business disciplines, including marketing and product management, to maximize sales effectiveness and revenue generation.
  • Consistently meet assigned sales targets for profitable revenue growth.
  • Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce to ensure accurate forecasting within a margin of +/- 20%.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Senior Business Management to deliver competitive, tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of financial professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial technology sales, a deep understanding of wealth management and portfolio analysis tools, and the ability to effectively communicate Zephyr's unique value to drive revenue and market presence.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of new business results and consistent achievement and exceeding of significant sales goals.
  • Extensive experience in direct sales to the investment or financial services industry, particularly in SaaS solutions, data feeds, and APIs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in selling financial technology solutions, including Fintech platforms, to diverse client bases such as financial advisors, asset managers, and institutional investors.
  • Proven ability to design and execute strategic sales plans targeting senior executive decision-makers.
  • Experience working effectively both collaboratively in team environments and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel, along with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • BS/BA from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred.
