Key Responsibilities:
Develop and ensure adherence to commissioning processes and best practices unique to the data center mission critical environment. Within the team, maintain accurate and updated documentation processes throughout the commissioning process, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and final commissioning reports. In a player/coach capacity, manage a team of commissioning project managers while also serving as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants on your own projects. Implement quality assurance processes at scale to monitor and review project performance, focusing on adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, industry regulations, and environmental standards. Contribute to the growth of the commissioning service by participating in RFPs, pitches, etc. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to commissioning and project management. Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project delivery and streamline commissioning processes. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from four-year College or University preferred; or 10 to 15 years related technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience building and managing high performing teams. Requirements: In-depth knowledge of commissioning principles, systems, and processes. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure. Willingness to travel to project sites as required. |
