Network Engineer (Cloud Focus) We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a strong emphasis on cloud networking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in AWS and Azure networking, with certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking and Azure Network Engineer Associate being highly desirable. The candidate should also have a good working knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless network operations. This role involves designing, building, implementing, and maintaining both cloud and on-premises network systems across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Networking: Manage all elements of cloud networking across multiple tenants, accounts, subscriptions, and directories. Create and manage cloud networking components, including tunnels, transit gateways, attachments, VNETS, and other resources.
- Design and Implementation: Plan, design, implement, manage, and coordinate cloud, local, and wide area networks with strong emphasis on cloud networking solutions in AWS and Azure environments. Install and configure virtual and physical networking infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Vendor Coordination: Interface with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
- Monitoring and Diagnostics: Design, develop, and implement processes, procedures, and tools for ongoing monitoring and diagnostics of all network communications systems, servers, and components to ensure reliable performance.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Provide timely resolution and follow-up to complex network problems, network outages, and time sensitive network degradation. Provide second and third-level support, analyze network traffic, and offer capacity planning solutions.
- Documentation and Standards: Establish, write, and implement formal networking technical diagrams, documentation, and operating procedures involving configurations and protocols.
- Redundancy and Disaster Recovery: Analyze, recommend, and implement complex solutions that provide redundancy plans to maximize uptime in the event of component failure or catastrophe.
- Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend new systems and operational-related technologies that demonstrate the potential for economic savings, increased productivity, or improved service.
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in AWS and Azure networking.
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking and Azure Network Engineer Associate certifications are strongly desired.
- Proven experience in designing, building, implementing, and managing network systems with proficiency in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless network operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive $67,100.00 - $124,500.00
