PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This summer internship position is designed to provide fun and challenging project work and broad exposure to various finance functions and business leaders within the company. The projects will be focused on supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team, specifically for Rite-Hite's distribution business unit. Distribution is Rite-Hite's largest business unit and is comprised of sales and service across the US, Canada, and Australia. We are looking for high potential, driven students with a passion for finance and learning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributes to the overall FP&A team through a set of assigned projects, with a focus on growing leadership skills, business acumen, and technical skills
  • Partners with FP&A team and business unit leaders to understand project deliverables and design approach to complete the project over the course of the internship
  • Owns the day-to-day completion of their project work, with guidance from their manager and other mentors
  • Communicates outcomes and results of their projects with the broader business teams and finance leadership to demonstrate key learnings

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current undergraduate student with target graduation date between December 2025-May 2026
  • Must be enrolled full-time (the semester after you work) at an accredited college or university
  • Target majors include Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics
  • Demonstrated interest in a corporate finance career
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
  • Able to work for a minimum of 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2025 with potential opportunity to continue part-time during the school year
  • Willing and able to work in a hybrid setting
  • Ability to utilize time management skills to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this job opening.
