Due to work requirements, candidates must be located within 40 miles of Green Bay main offices or Milwaukee River Center or Minneapolis 45 7th).This position is accountable for the strategy, oversight, and management of the first line of defense business line risk activities within the consumer business units, in adherence with the company's risk strategy. The scope of this position, referred to as Consumer Banking is comprised of the consumer elements of the Consumer & Business Banking, Community Markets and Private Wealth lines of business, plus the consumer elements of our Product & Marketing function. This senior leadership position will directly and indirectly lead a team of around 75 colleagues across the multiple lines of business and includes financial responsibilities inclusive of developing and managing budgets across areas of responsibility. The Consumer Risk Officer is responsible for staying current with regulatory expectations and industry trends, ensuring compliance with those expectations, and business line audits and regulatory exams. Additionally, the Consumer Risk Officer ensures effective communication among the Consumer business units, Corporate Risk team, and other constituents (e.g., ELT, Board of Directors, Internal Audit and regulators). The Consumer Risk Officer reports to the executive in charge of consumer banking with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Chief Risk Officer and will partner closely with the Head of Community Markets, Chief Product & Marketing Officer, and President of Private Wealth. This position participates in overall company and Consumer Banking strategy discussions and provides input to promote an enterprise-wide environment of risk awareness and risk ownership. This role will build and develop collaborative partnerships with senior management across multiple lines of business and internal departments, Corporate Risk program leaders, and other stakeholders to enhance business line risk capabilities.
