PPWI's compensation philosophy is rooted in equity. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate's applicable experience and internal equity. The Clinical Training Manager pay starts from $35.00 per hour.
Additional $1.50 per hour for bilingual (English/Spanish)
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Clinical Training Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and improving all aspects of clinical training for licensed and non-licensed health center staff. This position facilitates initial and ongoing training of clinical staff, and identifies, develops, and coordinates training opportunities within the Patient Services team. In collaboration with clinical and operational leadership, the Clinical Training Manager will ensure that training is tailored to deliver high quality, culturally competent, patient centered care that meets the standards set forth by the agency as well as Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA).

- Independently motivated to meet project management goals and objectives, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated computers skills including Office 365 and Microsoft Office Products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and experience with electronic health records.
- CPR certifiable.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
- Associate degree or diploma nursing required; Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year's work as a RN, with some experience in family planning, case management, women's health or an OB/GYN setting required.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.
SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE:
Directly supervises staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Physical demands of the position necessitate hearing, talking, handling, and grasping regularly. May require lifting to 30 pounds. Specific vision conditions include close vision reading. Requires the ability to operate a computer, telephone, fax, copy machine and adding machine or calculator. Requires the ability to operate medical equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The position is generally performed in either an office environment or from an agency approved remote location and involves frequent interruptions. The noise level is generally low to quiet. The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations, however, may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform said essential functions.
Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment. Will work with blood or blood-borne pathogens and will require OSHA training.
This position may require occasional travel statewide. Therefore, a valid driver's license and auto insurance in accordance with agency liability standards and consistent access to transportation is required.
