Verizon's FCBA Public Policy Internship Program seeks to attract, develop and support law students who are interested in pursuing legal careers in technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) law and policy. This internship for 1L's will provide exposure to the practice of law in a corporate legal setting and introduce interns to the diverse and complex nature of in-house policy and government affairs at Verizon. Interns will work in partnership with Verizon's Public Policy Summer Interns and contribute to meaningful projects in our Public Policy and Government Affairs Organization. You will use your drive and enthusiasm to contribute to and learn about the diverse areas of law covered by our regulatory and legislative offices. Interns will also have the opportunity to work with different areas of the Verizon legal department, including Verizon's worldwide Pro Bono Program. You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered. In this hybrid internship, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. This hybrid internship will be based out of Washington, DC. If relocation is required, relocation assistance may be available. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
