Job Description

Following corporate established guidelines coordinate and/or facilitate Continuous Improvement activities in the location targeted at cost reduction, productivity and process optimization, and/or quality performance achievement. Evaluate process improvement opportunities, define process metrics, and develop improvement plans. Coordinate with other departments to identify and prioritize process improvements to achieve operational excellence.

  • Gathers, analyzes and interprets data through inspection and evaluation of current processes. Analyze trends or variations to define the problems.
  • Prepare reports, charts, tables and other visual aids to summarize operations and highlight findings.
  • Review standards and process document changes, additions and deletions following the Document and Data Control Standard Practice.
  • Ensure conformance with overall company standards relating to documentation and record systems.

  • Review standards and process document changes, additions and deletions following the Document and Data Control Standard Practice.
  • Ensure conformance with overall company standards relating to documentation and record systems.
  • Identify current procedural documents, obsolete documentation and practices not documented. Assign re-write to documents as appropriate.
  • In applicable locations, maintain all documentation needed to satisfy ISO standards including quality records, training records, non-conformance/corrective action records and internal audit records.
  • Monitor compliance to Non-conformance and Corrective Action Standard Practice to ensure effectiveness of process.
  • Assist in planning and preparing quality, ISO, procedural and process training by coordinating or performing training with appropriate parties.
  • Assist in the creation of presentations and training sessions for continuous improvement.
  • Participates and leads in identified improvement projects as required.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Able to translate previous work experience in to very good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions.
  • Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance.
  • Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine.
  • Able to apply very good functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC or other technical tools to complete work assignments.
  • May require knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn specialized software related to the position.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to understand general business concepts and apply them when communicating with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments.
  • Knowledge of document control procedures (RRD Compliance Management Training preferred).
  • Additional job requirements may be listed on the staffing requisition.

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $73,500.00 - $120,800.00 per year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.

In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
