Join our team which is committed to the delivery of the highest quality healthcare service. We are seeking a full-time Psychotherapist (SUD Specialist) who is self-motivated, energetic, and a take-charge individual.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Working knowledge of WI DHS 75 (SUD) and WI DHS 35 (Mental Health).
  2. Knowledge and experience with evidence-based practices in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and co-occurring disorder treatment.
  3. Provide weekly individual, group, or family SUD counseling, under clinical supervision, and maintain regular contact and collaboration with the courts, physicians, hospitals, vocational rehabilitation and social services agencies, and other community groups to provide continuity of care.
  4. Facilitate group therapy activities that assist both clients and family members in understanding and coping with the impact of SUD.
  5. Promote healthy personal and family relationships through education, exploration of relationship dynamics, and therapeutic intervention.
  6. Document initial intake evaluations, treatment plans, treatment reviews, and discharge summaries in compliance with all applicable regulations and current state standards.
  7. Prepare with each client an individualized treatment plan which will include SMART goals and outline specific therapeutic interventions, ongoing assessment of progress, modifications when necessary, and aftercare planning.
  8. Review client treatment plans and record therapy sessions with progress notes in an electronic health record. Ensure notes contain accurate and relevant information and stay within legal parameters.
  9. Prepares detailed case records and reports in compliance with all applicable regulations and state standards.
  10. Attend monthly SUD Collaborative Meetings
  11. Attend weekly BH Staffing as assigned
  12. Active involvement in Clinical Supervision when applicable
  13. Maintain required continuing education units (CEU/CME) through in-services and workshops to continue professional growth and meet licensure requirements.
  14. Relate well to clients from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.


Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
  2. WI DSPS license to practice behavioral health (LCSW/LPC/LMFT). In-Training license will be considered.
  3. WI DSPS SUD certification (SAC-IT/SAC/CSAC) or national SUD certification is preferred.
  4. Bilingual in Spanish/English with extensive knowledge of Hispanic culture is preferred.
