Department of Plant Science & Technology Job Description
The Research/Lab Technician will be an integral part of our soybean breeding program activities. Responsibilities will encompass:
In addition to the greenhouse experiments, the Research/Lab Technician will also help in various soybean breeding activities/tasks such as planting, crossing, roguing, field data collection, and harvesting. The Research/Lab Technician will work closely with the Research Scientist and will perform other activities or tasks assigned or required. Shift
40-hour work week. Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $13.50 - $14.50/hour Grade: GGS-004 Benefit Eligibility
