Job Description

The Facilities Management Engineer Specialist is part of the Facility Operations team responsible for performing preventative and ongoing maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other infrastructure systems in mission-critical, high-risk or high-reliability environments (data centers, medical facilities, laboratories or utilities infrastructure) to ensure operational efficiency and maximum facility uptime. Key Responsibilities

* Assists with creating and reviewing all mission critical MOPs (Method of Procedures) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for accuracy, safety and assessing the potential for business impact

* Provide support of remote facilities when required

* Assists with reviews of major design modifications/upgrades in accordance with applicable codes including compliance and safety

* Assists with benchmarking

* Applies expertise and knowledge to the development of concepts and techniques and process improvements

* Identifies and assists with resolving potential issues and assists others to ensure data center uptime and project success

* Acts as a consistent individual contributor and team member, providing some influence, knowledge sharing, training, mentoring and direction to other staff engineers and peers

* Collaborate with partner data center at all times

Education

* High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Experience

* 2+ years experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

* This job does not have supervisory duties.

Hours:

This role will be a Second Shift position working either four 10-hour days, Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30 am or five 8-hour days Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Occasional flexibility is necessary to cover other shifts as needed due to teammate's PTO/ illness, or special projects and changes.

There is a six week training period.During the six week training period you will work Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts, beginning with 2 weeks on First Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm), then 2 weeks on Second Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) and finally 2 weeks on Third Shift (11:00pm - 7:30 am). Once the training period is complete, you will move to Second Shift.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $24.71 - 41.47 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
