The Position
2025 Summer Intern - Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Department Summary At Genentech Research & Early Development (gRED) we have initiated an exciting journey to bring together and further strengthen our computational talent and capabilities by forming a new, central organization - gRED Computational Sciences (gCS). gCS is on a mission to partner across the organization to realize the potential of data, technology and computational approaches that will revolutionize how targets and therapeutics are discovered and developed, ultimately enabling novel treatments for patients across the world. This position will be hosted by the Computational Biology & Translation department within gCS. Join us for an internship this summer. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site The Opportunity Within gCS, our group focuses on advanced computational research for development of cancer therapies, specifically in the field of cancer immunogenomics. We currently have an exciting internship opportunity available for highly motivated and academically equipped students. The internship will involve contributing to our research on identifying new targets for cancer therapies. This role offers hands-on experience in computational pre-clinical research. The ideal intern for this role should have a strong background in cancer biology and genetics.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary for this position based on the primary location ofCalifornia is $50 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
