Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will play a critical role in expanding our footprint within the Brokerage and Forwarding market. As an Account Executive, you will represent our solutions to Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers, owning the entire sales cycle-from prospecting to closing-with the full support of a collaborative team that includes marketers, customer service specialists, and customer success professionals.

We are looking for:

An experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in selling enterprise SaaS solutions or logistics services. You are a highly energetic, skilled individual with a customer-centric and consultative approach to sales. Ideally, you bring domain expertise in international logistics, customs brokerage, or supply chain management. You have the gravitas to engage senior executives and operational leaders, identifying opportunities where Descartes' solutions can drive operational efficiency and bottom-line results.

You will bring:

* 3+ years in B2B sales, with strong understanding of SaaS and subscription business models.

* Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas.

* You are a team player, able to work in a virtual team with colleagues and partners from diverse functions and backgrounds.

* Skilled at business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks, and coming up with appropriate solutions.

* Success adapting in fast-growing and changing environments.

* Domain knowledge and experience of International Logistics, Customs Brokerage, and supply chain management is a strong asset.

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Location and Compensation:

This remote opportunity is open to applicants authorized to work in the U.S., with a preference for those on the PST or MST Time Zone. The base salary ranges from $80,000 to $85,000 USD, plus uncapped sales commission. Your OTE (On Target Earning) could be $160,000-$170,000 USD"Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only.
