A locally headquartered company is recruiting a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. This role will be responsible for the preparation and management of external financial reports, technical accounting research and assisting with Internal Controls. This is a very team oriented environment with opportunities for promotion and leadership exposure. This is a hybrid role, salary to $130K. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and manage the timely filing of external financial reports, including quarterly, annual, and other SEC filings as required. Ensure financial statements and disclosures comply with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial statement audits and reviews. Work closely with internal teams to gather and validate data for external reporting. Prepare materials for senior management and respond to questions, issues as required Assist with quarter and year end close Compliance & Regulation: Monitor and interpret changes in accounting standards and SEC regulations, assessing their impact on financial reporting. Implement and maintain controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements Research technical accounting issues and communicate accordingly Process Improvement: Develop and refine processes for financial reporting to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. Use technology and automation tools to streamline reporting processes. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a huge plus 5+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, experience in public accounting is a huge plus. Must have public company experience In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
