Our client, a nationally recognized, regional not-for-profit health plan, is seeking a *Healthcare-Data Entry Clerk *to join their team, *REMOTELY - Must be located in NEW YORK STATE*!
*Job Details:* * *Start Date*: February 10, 2025 * *End Date: *June 10, 2025 * *Location: *100% Remote - Equipment Provided * *Schedule: *Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm (30 min lunch) (37.5/wk) * *Rate:* $18.50/hr * Qualifications:* * *Must live in NEW YORK STATE* * Healthcare administration experience * 1 - 2 years previous medical experience and /or claims experience preferred. * High School Diploma or GED * Strong Data Entry skills required. Minimum of 5000-7000 key strokes per hour preferred * Able to recognize some medical terminology * Comfortable using a computer and has intermediate computer skills. *Job Summary:* * Perform continuous keying of multiple claim form types such as Medical, Dental and miscellaneous documents from both electronic images on screen and paper documents at a PC workstation into the PCS application. * Demonstrated ability towork in a team environment and always present a positive professional attitude and work with other areas as required. * Ability to meet department standards for Production and Quality; sit for long periods of time; must be flexible and on occasion work overtime if the business need requires; follow verbal and written directions and maintain confidentiality; quality oriented, motivated team player; and must be punctual. Perform other duties as assigned *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
