What You Will Do:

The Recruiter will be a key departmental partner in providing support in a variety of capacities to diverse stakeholders throughout the University. Primarily, this position will administer the full-cycle recruitment process for staff, faculty, and adjunct faculty positions and will be instrumental in partnering with college faculty, administration and department heads to keep abreast of the needs of the institution. As an invaluable part of the Human Resources team and business partner with our institutional leadership, this person will guide recruiting strategies by providing proactive solutions to ensure successful hiring outcomes. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of building strong relationships with individuals at all levels within the organization.



Essential Responsibilities

    Actively participates in the full life cycle recruiting process for staff, faculty and adjunct positions throughout the University including the development of job descriptions, sourcing candidates, posting positions, candidate review, conducting interviews, extending job offers, and obtaining appropriate paperwork/approvals of high-quality diverse candidates.
  • Maintain and support a variety of recruiting reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Partners with College Program Chairs/Directors, and hiring managers to actively identifies sourcing strategies and develops and maintains a deep knowledge/understanding of internal needs for the colleges.
  • Educates, trains and coaches Program Chairs, Program Directors, Content Leads and Hiring Managers on the recruitment and selection process including legal aspects and best practices.
  • Understands and maintains up to date knowledge of recruiting best practices in accordance with all applicable laws.
  • Proactively sources candidates for current and upcoming roles using external sources like Indeed, LinkedIn, and other available networks.


Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting including, sourcing candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, etc., conducting interviews, training hiring managers, building relationships with department heads to understand needs, offer negotiation, etc.
  • At least one year of experience developing recruiting reports and analyzing data with regard to recruiting metrics
  • Experience working with other Human Resource functions
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

The salary range of the grade for this position is $45,986 to $64,380 annually. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law, including but not limited to: budgetary considerations, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, market considerations, tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees), and internal equity.
