Requirements and Preferences


Work Schedule Weekly work schedule will include one overnight shift (12:00am-7:00am; Mon, Tues, or Thurs) plus non-overnight shift(s), TBD based on availability and scheduling needs; position is for fall semester with possibility to continue in future semesters.
Other Work/Responsibilities
Minimum Experience/Education
Must be enrolled for at least six credit hours during the Spring semester as an NC State University student.
Department Required Skills

  • Experience providing excellent customer service.
  • Basic desktop computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new information and take on new tasks.
  • Knowledge of library services and resources is a plus but not required.
  • Punctual and communicative around attendance.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Basic technological skills including an awareness of new commercial and/or
academic technologies.
