Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Community Programs is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and evaluation of a robust portfolio of programs for youth and adults: American Red Cross Courses, swim lessons, ice skating lessons, self-defense, and youth programs including a 9-week summer camp program service 160 campers per week. Responsibilities: Manages a department of recreation that encompasses multiple comprehensive recreation programs. Oversees and performs activities including policy development and enforcement, program development and expansion, participant eligibility, and/or risk management. May supervise staff.
