Application Deadline: January 17th, 2025 Goodwill of Colorado is seeking an experienced and high-energy Manager for our Outlet Store and Recycling Operations located at our Denver Metro Outlet operations; Federal, Kearney & Platte River. Supervisory or management experience in warehouse, logistics, retail, or similar industries is required for this position. Must have customer service, financial, monetary, production, inventory, and staff supervisory experience. Pay: $68,000 Annually-This Full Time job-Benefits are available - See Detailed description This role will support operations of 3 Denver Metro Outlet locations: Federal Outlet, Kearney Outlet, & Platte River Outlet. Goodwill of Colorado is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) eligible employer JOB SUMMARY: The Manager II, Secondary Markets will lead the operations team at our Outlet Store and Salvage and Recycling facility located at our Retail Support Center. They will be responsible for meeting revenue and net income from operations goals as well as improving waste diversion. They will be responsible for ensuring customers/donors receive the highest level of customer service at this non-traditional shopping experience and maintaining an "Attitude of Gratitude" to support the mission of the organization. The Manager will also manage the Recycling Operations of the Retail Support Center (RSC) (with the assistance of Salvage/Recycling Coordinator and the Recycling Assistant Manager). In this role, the manager will be responsible for all aspects of the recycled and salvageable goods processing system. The manager will work with domestic and international salvage and recycling brokers and buyers to be the best steward of every material donation, maximizing revenue opportunities and reducing landfill waste. Training will begin immediately to prepare you to be responsible for effective and efficient management of our Outlet Store and Recycling Operations. 2 years: At least two (2) years' experience in retail sales. One (1) year experience in thrift store retail operations is desirable. (preferred)
2 years: At least two (2) years' proven experience in employee supervision, employee on-the-job training, administrative functions, customer relations, and general store operations required. (preferred) 1 years: Prefer experience in recycling and salvage material sales. Possess knowledge of distribution systems. One (1) year safety- oriented background a plus.
