Responsibilities We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine Clinic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess strong clinical and administrative skills. You will play a key role in assisting physicians, managing patient flow, and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Patient Rooming: Greet patients, escort them to examination rooms, and prepare them for their visit. Vital Signs and Measurements: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and weight. Patient History: Obtain and document patient medical histories, current medications, allergies, and any other pertinent information. Clinical Assistance: Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Patient Education: Provide patients with basic information regarding their health, medications, and any follow-up care instructions. Specimen Collection: Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, including blood draws, urine samples, and swabs, following proper protocols. Administrative Tasks: Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing patient records in the electronic health records (EHR) system. Qualifications** Current Certification as a Medical Assistant. Graduate of an accredited program or apprenticeship program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. High School Diploma or equivalent.
