The Vascular Program Manager has dual responsibilities of program leadership and clinical practice. This Manager works closely with the Medical Director to establish and sustain a vascular program consistent with IAC guidelines, with all standards necessary to achieve IAC Accreditation. Performs the role utilizing the patient-centered coordinated care model demonstrated through the following competencies: leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision making. Works collaboratively with other members of the practice/hospital team to assess, plan and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. This position is responsible to build a new subspecialty service line and manage the infrastructure, community outreach, and education to the departments within the hospital. This role builds out protocols for the subspecialty service line, establishes and manages a team that leads to new services being offered, provides education to the nursing teams, manages patients and develops care plans, and assists leadership in strategic planning to build out a program. Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1. Three years experience in hospital with direct patient contact. Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Registered Vascular Technologist Certification or Registered Vascular Specilalist Certification.
