Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Equine/Bovine Marketing Specialist for our Lakeville, Minnesota corporate office. This is a remote position that can be located in: AL, FL, IL, IN, IA, KY, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, PA, SC, TX, and WI, CA, GA, LA, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, TN, VA.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing educational content for key stakeholders within assigned divisions. This role includes updating and maintaining current marketing materials, creating new and relevant content, managing marketing assets, and producing publications. The individual will work closely with business partners to cultivate strong relationships, ensuring brand consistency and effective representation.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Developing educational content tailored to key stakeholders within assigned divisions, ensuring materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with business objectives. This role includes updating and maintaining current marketing materials while creating new, impactful pieces that resonate with the target audience. Additionally, the specialist will oversee the development and production of high-quality publications and marketing assets to support divisional goals, ensuring they meet brand standards and deliver value to stakeholders. Collaboration with internal teams and subject matter experts will be essential to successfully execute these responsibilities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with assigned business partners, ensuring alignment with company standards and shared goals. By driving mutual business initiatives and strategic planning, this role will focus on strengthening market share and advancing the interests of assigned business units while maintaining consistency with the brand's identity and standards.
  • Oversee the management of all incoming marketing assets for assigned business units, ensuring they are received from vendor partners in a timely and organized manner. This role also involves creating and managing additional assets as needed to support marketing initiatives. All assets will be systematically organized and maintained within internal databases, providing streamlined access and retrieval for team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute brand initiatives that align with organizational goals. This includes working with teams such as Equipment Sales, mClub, MVSO, mVet, and Tradeshow & Events, while serving as the primary point of contact for the sales liaison team to ensure seamless communication and support across departments.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing.
  • Proven experience in content development, marketing asset management, and publication production.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Equine and/bovine knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard marketing tools and databases.

Regularly use typical office equipment including computer keyboard and terminal, telephone, and copier.

Work Environment:

This is a remote position. Work will typically be performed Monday through Friday in an office environment. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required.
