Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Manager, Contracts and Pricing who manages and supports the Contract and Pricing department. In this role, you will manage and train marketing staff, as well as, manage and support Salesforce and DocuSign staff and platforms. You will serve as a liaison between legal on all contracts and documents, in addition to managing in force agreements and historical documents.

Job Duties

  • Manages the Contract and Pricing department while improving the distribution of data in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develops and executes Contract and Pricing department goals and objectives
  • Reviews contracts and ensures contract and pricing documentation is compliant with Audit and SOX requirements
  • Provides various marketing reports and Salesforce database information and functions
  • Provides recommendations for process improvements within Contract and Pricing, Salesforce, DocuSign and contract management
  • Direct the development of Salesforce initiatives and programs, train marketing staff on updates
  • Provides conflict resolution for both employees and customers
  • Ensures positive and productive working relationships within all other departments
  • Process department AFE's through Salesforce and Winshuttle for all marketing projects
  • Submit budgeting for the department
  • Perform weekly / monthly reports and analyses for the marketing department
  • Performs monthly reporting for internal and external auditing
  • Checks audit status weekly of price sims and contracts
  • Establishes, maintains, trains staff and documents procedures for the department
  • Organize and manage workflow through systems and best practices
  • Determines work procedures, sets priorities, and prepares work materials
  • Performs all personnel-related duties including performance appraisals, bonus recommendations, and employee relations
  • Update contracts with legal approval as needed; address contractual obligation concerns of customers with legal.
  • May manage the organization of major customer events and attends industry functions
  • Serve as department representative on system development initiatives (e.g. Deal Point, Freight Engine, Salesforce, DocuSign, contracts management and Plan to Order)



Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superiors, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

A minimum of eight years of job-specific work experience with at least two years in a leadership role are required, as well as experience in Salesforce, contract management and administration.

Education Level

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience is required.

Required Skills

The ability to act as a technical advisor in the implementation of new and existing processes and to stay abreast of new technology and legal developments and processes is essential. Working knowledge of Microsoft products and experience with SAP software is required. Advanced critical and entrepreneurial thinking. Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal and the ability to perform mathematical calculations at the intermediate level.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

Supervises the work of at least 8 administrative staff members

Work Conditions

Office based with up to 2% travel by land and air required. May be required to work flexible hours. At times, required to work in warehouse/plant environment and refinery/industrial/pipeline environment, includes but not limited to, work near moving mechanical parts and/or rotating equipment, loud noise or vibrations and varying road conditions. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
