SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing will have responsibility for overseeing the paid media and marketing automation strategies to drive leads and customer engagement and awareness to support marketing campaigns across multiple product lines and corporate initiatives.

This person will lead a team and partner with agencies to execute on paid media campaigns to acquire and nurture leads through paid placements, events, targeted nurture programs, etc.

This individual must have a deep understanding of paid media tactics, digital marketing strategies, and marketing automation; be able to work in a fast-paced, quick changing environment and provide innovative and new approaches to deliver on paid/trade media strategies.

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Marketing Execution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Campaign Strategy: Develop paid media strategies to support specific goals, strategic priorities and revenue targets across multiple product lines, events , brand, and key corporate initiatives, including peer review site management and trade media ad placements to drive leads.
  • Budget & Financial Management:Define and manage campaign budgets and monitor the ad spend/pacing of paid media campaigns and oversee agency management of our media.
  • Team Leadership:Ability to mentor and coach a staff, providing them direction and guidance to deliver on key initiatives. Leading with empathy and motivating team members to succeed.
  • Agency & Vendor Management:Manage, direct and partner with external agencies to support paid media campaigns execution, including trafficking, flighting, pacing, trade media placements, and ad creative optimizations.
  • Marketing Automation & CRM: Partner with internal Salesforce, web/ecommerce, business owners and other internal stakeholders to ensure lead flow, scoring, tracking, reporting and automation activities for inbound campaigns are set up accurately, including UTM, Pardot-Salesforce workflow, landing pages and form management.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: This role will need to partner and drive results through collaboration with the product marketing, Salesforce tech support, revenue operations, design, brand, content, experiential, operations, digital, media, and sales teams.
  • Campaign Measurement & Reporting: Lead and manage the measurement of all paid media campaigns and other lead generation initiatives. Conduct monthly and quarterly data reporting review meetings to cross-functional teams to provide insights and assessments on campaign ad performance, optimizations, CPL, CPA, ROAS and ROI. Provide regular reporting on Account Engagement (Pardot) inquiries, marketing leads and opportunities.
  • Testing & Campaign Optimization:Establish a test and learn plan along with campaign/creative optimization to iterate and improve on campaign and media performance based on data-driven assessments and analysis.
  • Project Management: Schedule, track and manage a steady workflow of campaigns in partnership with agencies and internal staff to provide deliverables in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years relevant digital marketing experience, including experience with paid media budgets, social media and search platforms, performance metrics, and overall paid media/digital marketing campaign management and agency/vendor management, preferably in Veterinary or Human Healthcare.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Salesforce/Pardot certifications, but not required.
COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
  • Strong analytical, critical, and creative-thinking skills including applying them towards Marketing Campaign
  • Ability to forecast lead acquisition, CPL, CPA, and overall results for digital/paid media marketing campaigns
  • Experience in content strategy supported by SEO/SEM optimization and PPC strategy.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor teams with varying skillsets, experiences, and backgrounds
  • Strong skillset in campaign measurement/performance metrics and analysis.
  • Strategic market planning experience
  • Strong communication skills, writing ability, and project management experience required.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive

$107,500.00 - $199,600.00
