About the Opportunity: As a KPO Technician, you'll support Kaizen workshops and help optimize manufacturing processes to enable one-piece flowlines. You'll play a key role in designing, modifying, and building machinery, as well as applying Kaizen tools to improve efficiency. You'll collaborate across departments to ensure continuous process improvements, develop creative solutions, and provide hands-on support to operators. Travel to other Pursuit sites may be required.

Location: Malden, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and support Kaizen workshops, both on-site and at other Pursuit locations.
  • Apply basic blueprint reading, design, and fabrication skills to provide hands-on, creative solutions that enhance manufacturing processes and flow lines.
  • Utilize Kaizen tools to improve efficiency and support operators with swift solutions, ensuring ease of operations and safety.
  • Contribute to the development, modification, and construction of machinery or devices in adherence to Pursuit's safety standards.
  • Collaborate effectively in team environments and support various roles across the company as needed, including covering for the Site Senior KPO Technician.
  • Assist with Tier 1 & 2 process abnormalities as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing experience
  • Understanding of mechanical components and machine design.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on small details and ensure high accuracy in all assembly tasks, minimizing errors and rework.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new assembly techniques, tools, or technologies as needed to meet evolving production requirements.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Quality Focus: Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, especially in aerospace.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
