Job Title: Installation Technician

Job Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm, M-F

Pay Rate: $20.00-$23.00 Per Hour

Job Summary: Reporting to the Job Foreman, the Installation Technician is responsible for assisting in the installation of flooring systems by mixing and applying concrete coatings and using various tools to complete assigned jobs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Job Foreman in all tasks required to perform installation of selected systems
• Follow all instructions of the Job Foreman to ensure highest quality of work
• Mix and apply concrete coatings per manufacturer recommendations
• Operate electric hand tools, including but not limited to: grinders, shop vacs, and other tools required to complete jobs
• Perform all duties with a strong focus on safety
• Clean up and maintain job sites and shop area
• Understand and adhere to job site rules
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required
• 1+ Year of previous general construction experience required
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Frequently required to stand; walk; talk or hear; reach above shoulders; use hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch or touch objects, controls, tools or equipment; kneel, crouch and use foot/feet to operate machinery
• Occasionally required to lift, carry, move, push or pull materials, product up to 50 pounds; bend at the waist; climb or balance
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as floor grinders

Work Conditions and Environment:

• Must be able to work in a dusty environment with exposure to various flooring systems, chemicals and products
• No smoking on job site, warehouse, or company vehicles
