Expediter (Shift: 7:30AM - 4:30PM)

Responsible for managing intercompany sales orders, while developing effective working relationships with our supply base, stockroom, sales, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, schedule/re-schedule, confirm manual orders in ERP (Baan 4)

• Ensure delivery commitments clearly communicated to our internal partners

• Maintain accuracy of delivery information in Baan

• Identify and expedite parts shortages

• Proactively communicate updates for pacing shortages to the operations

• Addressing customer emergencies and work with internal partners to expedite rush requirements

• Order Data - Ensure clean inputs into ERP

• Communicate and escalate delivery issues to the appropriate authorities (based on escalation process)

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and/or process flow enhancements

• Participate in continuous improvement activities

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to strive in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task

• Establish working relationships while maintaining the ability to influence others

• Demonstrated persistence with a goal/deadline in mind

• Process driven with strong problem-solving skills

• Strong computer skills (BAAN, ERP, MS Office) with the ability to conduct data analysis

• Effective time management and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience in both national and internation logistics transportation and related timelines/considerations

• 1-2 years' experience in Purchasing/Expediting within manufacturing environment
