Director of Finance People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Director of Finance to lead our financial planning and analysis function. This position will develop high performing teams, and will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday during business hours Location: Eagan, Minnesota. Hybrid with remote opportunities, in-office presence is required Hiring Range: $110,700 - $132,000 Salary, based on qualifications Main Job Duties:
- Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Lead the monthly financial analysis process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and develop finance team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements

- The ability to pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of Inspector General to assure that person has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
Required Education and Experience
- CPA or master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- In lieu of a CPA or master's degree, a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, Accounting, or a related field and 12 years' experience in financial planning and analysis.
- 10 or more years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- 4 years of supervisory experience
- Expert financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
Preferred Education & Experiences
- Proficiency in SQL and VBA.
- Previous experience in mental health or healthcare industry.
- Preference given to candidates with non-profit work experience.
- Experience using BI (yellowfin or Power BI).
