Title: Documentation Specialist

Location: Branchburg, NJ 08876

Duration: 6 Months

Shift: M-F (7:30 4pm)


Note: Onsite - 100%, (Not Open for candidates who will relocate)

What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position?

* High school graduate, bachelor's preferred.

* At least 1 to 3 years work experience in the GmP industry

* 1 to 3 year medical/pharmaceutical industry preferred.

* Data Entry.

* Medical Terminology.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate PI sheets in the ERP system.
  • Retrieve serological test results via email, fax, and the tissue portal.
  • Ensure TRP paperwork and labels are cross-referenced and verified against the ERP system and RFID labels.
  • Interpret serological results in compliance with current procedures, applicable state regulations, FDA standards, and AATB guidelines.
  • Input the verified serological results into the ERP system.
  • Enter the final disposition of results, including Medical Director acceptability, deferrals, microbiology, and serology results.
  • Assess donor chart for grade verification and usage decision based on consent, Medical Director's decision, and final serological review.
  • Track metrics for Medical Director deferrals and microbiological rejections.
  • Collaborate with QCPR and TR for further actions or reviews



As part of the Tissue Services department Coordinator's will also provide support to the team as deemed necessary through the following: the assembly of detailed and complete donor files, data entry, ERP transactions document reconciliation and Tissue Services Portal.
