The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation's premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as "The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. |

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Asst. Coach - Volleyball for Athletics Events - Operations.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Assists in the coordination of a Women's Volleyball intercollegiate athletic program which provides an opportunity for student-athletes to train and compete on a competitive, Division I women's volleyball program while attending school to earn a college degree.

Minimum Education and Experience |

- A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations.
- High level intrapersonal and communication skills in order to relate with current and propsective student athletes, athletic department personnel and media.
- Computer literacy.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's degree.
- Collegiate playing experience (Division 1, 2, 3 or NAIA).
- Previous recruiting experience.
- Experience with DataVolley.
- High level knowledge of all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, SnapChat, and YouTube).
