Description Reliability Analysis
- Conduct detailed analysis of equipment performance and failure data to identify reliability improvement opportunities.
- Utilize tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Work with site leadership to develop, improve, and strengthen our preventive and predictive work, and drive breakdown time down.
- Develop and maintain equipment reliability databases and dashboards.
Maintenance Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Create and optimize maintenance plans and schedules to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to develop effective maintenance strategies.
Equipment Performance Monitoring:
Improvement Initiatives:
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing equipment reliability and reducing maintenance costs.
- Implement reliability improvement initiatives such as equipment upgrades, process changes, and technology enhancements.
- Track and report the effectiveness of reliability improvement initiatives.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the technical skills of maintenance personnel.
- Assist in the design and specification of new equipment and systems to ensure reliability and maintainability.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of reliability analysis, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Prepare and present reliability reports to management and stakeholders.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance manuals.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections of equipment and maintenance activities.
- Promote a culture of safety and reliability within the organization.
Supplemental Data
- Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, heat, and machinery.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on project needs.
- Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Training and Education
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (for Asset Reliability Engineer).
- Relevant technical diploma or certification (for Asset Reliability Technician).
- Proven experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of reliability analysis tools and techniques (RCA, FMEA, RCM).
- Experience with condition monitoring technologies and diagnostic tools.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance and reliability.
