A Brief Overview
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning homes, offices, clubhouses, laundry rooms, mail rooms, exercise rooms, and swimming pool areas, maintaining said areas in attractive condition. Additional duties may consist of administrative and all other reasonable tasks as requested by management.

What you will do



  • Clean, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, hallways, glass, and stairways.
  • Spot clean walls for finger and scuff marks.
  • Wax floors monthly as applicable.
  • Empty all trash receptacles and recycling bins.
  • Fully clean, all bathrooms including clean all toilets, sinks, counter tops, showers, and bathtubs.
  • Clean windows, doors, walls, wall vents, receptacle/switch plates, cabinets, appliances, and window coverings.
  • Dust, make beds, wash linens, organize, and arrange living areas (corporate units where applicable).
  • Clean trash and debris from parking lot and entranceway.
  • Regular inspections of all vacant units to ensure clean, fresh, and odorless.
  • Disinfect and sanitize areas that may need special attention.
  • Inform supervisor of any vandalism, damage or repair required on perimeter or in common areas of Community.
  • Cleaning also includes the Offices, Centers, Models, Theater, Formal Conference Room, Children's Playroom, Fitness Room, Gymnasium, Game Room, Swimming Pool Facilities, Leasing Office, and small Conference Room where applicable.
  • Clean exterior windows and light fixtures, exterior pathway light housing, set trashcans and recycle bins out the night prior to collection.
  • This position requires driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle, at any frequency from Rarely to Constantly; or, 2) a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties


Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) with training Required
  • experience in the cleaning facilities field. Required and
  • 1-3 years of solid previous work history. Required and
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work Preferred
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as working in a team environment.
  • Perform work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, as well as to lift weights of up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Requires a self-motivated, team player who pays close attention to detail and who can prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State Required
