Warehouse Freezer Order Picker (Full-Time) As a Freezer Warehouse Order Picker, you will play a pivotal role in the timely and accurate fulfillment of retail store orders. Your expertise in locating, selecting, and preparing products for shipment is essential in helping us maintain an efficient warehouse operation. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate motorized pallet jack and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently in the process of order fulfillment Pick cases (up to 50 pounds) from warehouse locations as indicated on an order sheet or from a headset; arrange items on a pallet and stage the pallet for loading Maintain a level of work productivity as established by warehouse management Keep work area clear of debris, spills, or unsanitary conditions to promote a safe environment Other duties as assigned BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must be willing to work evening shifts 4:00 pm to 1:00 am Must be at least 18 years old or older Ability to read and interpret order sheet Able to hear an order from a headset Ability to speak and read English High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities Basic math skills are required PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to climb stairs, bend, kneel, twist, reach, and pull frequently Must be able to lift items more than 50 lbs. occasionally, 25 lbs. frequently, and 10 - 20 lbs. continuously WORK ENVIRONMENT: Freezer rooms, -20F - 0F Campus warehouses have a noisy and busy environment; employees must always remain alert ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Work 40-45 hours per week 2 schedules available: Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday Wage starting at $22/hr with top wage at $25 Pre-Employment work screen and background check required Fareway provides your cold weather clothing BENEFITS: Saturdays off Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave Flexible Scheduling Employee Discount Weekly Pay On-the-job, paid training Comprehensive Medical/Rx Health Savings Account Flex Spending Account - Medical Dental and Vision Insurance Company Paid Short Term Disability and Basic Life Insurance/AD&D Supplemental Life Insurance Long Term Disability Critical Illness Insurance Accident Insurance 401(l) Retirement Planning (With company match) Dependent Care Reimbursement Account Student Loan Paydown Program For more information, please call Bret Grimes at (515)-317-9119 or Blake Linsenmeyer at (515)-758-4131. *EOE
