Product Management Director

• You will engage deeply with clients to fully understand their supply chain decision making business processes and IT environments through research and dialog, know our ecosystem of professional services capabilities, and determine mutually beneficial opportunities to work together.
• You will develop and document a detailed picture of our customers' needs and take account of industry trends in developing your multi-year product strategies.
• You will look for opportunities where product synergies across the Supply Chain Management suite and the larger AspenTech portfolio can unlock value for customers.
• You will work with R&D, QE and Usability teams to develop detailed use cases and test plans, and help to create workflows that customers can master easily, with minimal learning curve
• You will work closely with Product Management, R&D, QE, User Experience Design, Product Marketing, Professional Services, Implementation Services Partners, and Global Consulting/Advisory Partners.
• You will evangelize and coach sales growth sales plays related to supply chain management solutions with our Field organization including Sales, Pre-Sales and with key customers.
• You will be responsible for developing and enhancing the end-to-end supply chain solutions and extended synergies demo environment used by Pre-Sales.

• A University degree in Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Sciences, or Chemical Engineering is required. An MBA would be an advantage.
• 10+ years of demonstrated skills in delivering supply chain management planning and scheduling solutions to customers in the process manufacturing industries; including at least 3+ years of consultative experience in a pre-sales role. Prior Product Management experience would be an advantage.
• Prior experience in the use, configuration and adoption of AspenTech's Supply Chain Management solutions would be an advantage.
• Proven ability to create and articulate a strategy, influence others, build support from stakeholders, present to executives, and drive execution of the strategy.
• Demonstrated business acumen and industry insights to assess the tradeoffs across technology, operations, business processes, people, and costs.
• Strong individual initiative and ownership, driven for results, and motivated by impact. Extremely well organized, detail-oriented, outcomes driven, and possessing a high level of integrity.
• Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
